M. SHAHIDUL ISLAM & CO., Chartered Accountants is a firm of Chartered Accountants. Its journey started on 16 March 2023. We are popularly known as MSI. The Firm assists its clients of all sizes and nature, from SMEs to mid-caps and global conglomerates as well as start-ups, NGOs and public bodies at every stage of their developments.

Our Principal & CEO
Mr. Md. Shahidul Islam FCA is a Chartered Accountant and Fellow Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB).
His Brief Profile:
- He has completed his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from dept. of Accounting and Information Systems (AIS) of University of Dhaka.
- He completed his Chartered Accountancy from ACNABIN, Chartered Accountants (A member firm of Baker Tilly International), Dhaka.
- He had worked at K. M. HASAN & CO., Chartered Accountants from 18 January 2015 to 12 March 2023.
- More specifically he worked as partner at K. M. HASAN & CO., Chartered Accountants from 01 July 2018 to 12 March 2023
- He has extensive experience in the field of external audit, special audit, risk advisory and financial review of national & multinational companies in Bangladesh. Some of them are Unilever Bangladesh Limited, The Premier Bank Limited, Union Bank Limited, NRB Commercial Bank Limited, Ogilvy Mather Communications Limited, BCB, Petro Bangla, GTCL, PGCB, JGTCD.
- He also leads a transfer pricing (TP) team and provides TP services to wide range of organization. Some of them are Metlife (ALICO), RAK Ceramics Bangladesh Limited, Evergreen Products Factory BD Limited, SEAF Venture Bangladesh Limited, SEAF Venture Management Limited and so on.
- He has expertise in providing tax services to various organization. Some of them are Metlife (ALICO), RAK Ceramics Bangladesh Limited, Evergreen Products Factory BD Limited, Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited, Shimanto Bank Limited, Mercantile Bank Limited, The Premier Bank Limited, NRB Bank Limited, Union Bank Limited, NRB Commercial Bank Limited, Radiant Pharmaceuticals Limited, Epylion Group, Evergreen Group, aamra group, AG Group and so on.
- He has exertise and deals with clients’ bookkeeping, accounting, financial reporting, and compliance in respect of direct tax, indirect tax, and other regulatory matters.
- He has extensive experience in employee benefit fund accounting and Gratuity Fund accounting and getting its approval from NBR.
- He is an IT and Accounting expert, has has well knowledge for implementing accounting software Tally in many clients. He is also an expert in SAP module, Quickbook software, APT, Benipack.
